How joining works
Four simple steps

Tell us you’re interested
Add your child to the waiting list on Online Scout Manager (OSM) – it takes about two minutes.

We get in touch
We reply with what happens next and current availability for your child’s age.

Come and visit
When a place comes up we invite you to a taster session to meet the leaders.

Register and start
You finalise the registration on Online Scout Manager, your child makes their Promise, and they’re in.

Waiting list and OSM registration are self-service above, and volunteer applications go through the national system – but if you’d rather talk first, or have a question that doesn’t fit either, just get in touch.
